I believe in stories. I believe everyone has something to bring to the table because of the experiences they have been through. So it would be hypocritical of me to glaze over my own!

To keep it short, I was consumed by anxiety for years without knowing the cause of it. It may sound stupid, but Pinterest saved my life! Bet you haven't heard that one before. Basically, I came across some self-reflection questions that hit me harder than I thought they could. I started asking myself guided questions like, "What do you need to let go of in order to grow?" These questions have lead me through a major breakup, 5 months of intensity in Brazil, and most recently an insane trip across the country. Ultimately, these questions lead me to one conclusion: I NEEDED SOMETHING SECURE TO STAND ON. And through that revelation, I searched and found that foundation in Jesus. And I could have never imagined the amazing things He has brought me into.

So many times we try to push our emotions to the side so that we can get things done and get on with our lives. But usually, that's what leads us into the negative space of severe anxiety. At least that's how it goes for me. If you struggle with anxiety, depression, or anything that makes you feel insignificant, lost, or directionless, I highly recommend asking yourself some hard questions. They may not solve anything, but I guarantee they will help you gauge where you are and where you want to be just a little better.

What you put in is what you'll get out! I'm not afraid of being vulnerable with what I'm going through and I highly recommend getting vulnerable with yourself. You are stronger than you think, smarter than you know, and more valuable than you could ever comprehend. You aren't alone, let's grow together.
